15 June 2023 at 10:45 King Harald tripped on the red carpet in Copenhagen Shortly after arriving in Copenhagen during his two-day state visit, King Harald fell while going up a red carpet staircase. The king quickly got help, and he was quickly on his feet again. He went on for his own machine and appeared to be in good shape. The fall occurred after the royal couple had disembarked from the royal ship Norway at Nordre Tolbod in Copenhagen. There he and the queen were received by Queen Margrethe in a solemn welcome ceremony. The visit to Denmark marks the historical ties and the close relationship between the Norwegian and Danish royal houses.
