7 April 2023 at 09:34 Kangaroo on the run in Denmark for two days A kangaroo escaped from a zoo outside Ribe in Jutland on Wednesday morning. It has been observed several times, but not caught. The zoo Glad Zoo in the village of Lintrup encourages local residents to report if they see it, writes the local channel TV Syd. The zoo manager, Dennis Jensen, lives only a few kilometers away, but every time the kangaroo is spotted, it gets away before he can get there. However, he reminds that you should not try to catch the kangaroo, and recommends a distance of 10–15 metres. In May 2020, a kangaroo escaped from a zoo on Karmøy and was on the run for more than two months. It eventually became a problem for a kindergarten in the area, as it used the kindergarten’s outdoor area as a toilet. The kangaroo was caught at the end of July in good shape. (NTB)
