The video appears to be a ploy to refute reports from Ukrainian intelligence that he is ill, writes AFP. – I strongly recommend that everyone who cannot tell the difference between truth and lies take a walk, get some fresh air and get their thoughts in order, says Kadyrov in a video posted on his own Telegram channel. There has been much speculation for several months whether Kadyrov is ill. The latest reports have been about him being in a coma. Kadyrov was elected president of Chechnya in 2007, after initially being a rebel warlord. He has long called himself Putin’s foot soldier. Kadyrov has been an enthusiastic supporter of Russia’s war against Ukraine, and has sent his own soldiers into the war.
