Today it became clear that the 28-year-old will still be in prison. – Originally, our client was remanded in custody by the district court until 14 February. After processing the appeal, the Court of Appeal has decided that our appeal will proceed, and our client will be released on January 9 at the latest, says lawyer Thomas Randby in a press release. After the imminent release, the man will be transferred to serve a previous criminal sentence of 75 days. The 28-year-old was arrested in September this autumn, one month after the murder took place. The police have stated that it is he who they believe lured Henriksen to the cabin where he was killed.
