Despite Ingrid Tandrevold’s second place in yesterday’s normal distance, Sweden, Germany and France were the teams most thought would fight for victory. These girls here are so good. We get on really well together and we perform very well. It’s delicious, says Femsteinevik after the race. Tandrevold then got the job of securing the podium, which she managed even though she lost an intense duel with German Denise Herrmann-Wick for second place. – I am very proud. Very satisfied with the work and the team building we have done, which means that we only shoot three extra shots and get on the podium. I think we have every reason to be proud of that, says Tandrevold to news. Sørli Glomnes explains that there were three other teams that were bigger favorites on paper before the start. – We would like to prepare the listeners that a podium place is an uphill battle today. It is natural when the two biggest profiles are not included. I was optimistic throughout, and nothing pleased me more than seeing the girls put our predictions to shame.
