July 15, 2022 at 21:45 No final ticket for tearful Llano: – Do not know what happened Beatrice Nedberge Llano (24) did not get to vote and smoked out in Friday’s sledge qualification in the World Athletics Championships. The Bergen native had 64.81 meters as the best record after three attempts in Eugene in Oregon. She opened with 64.57 and got a throw of 66.22 strokes. It held to 14th place in group A. The twelve best from the qualifiers over two pools go on. All throws of 73.50 or better guarantee a final place, and Llano was nowhere near that. Earlier this summer, she set a Norwegian record with 72.10. The throw came at this year’s American World Cup arena. – I’m not feeling very well, Llano says to news. – I do not know what happened, I have no idea, really. I had several throws over 70 in the last training sessions before the World Cup, she says. (NTB / news)
