– It could lead to a change of power – news Oslo og Viken – Local news, TV and radio

– It is a survey that confirms that there may be a change of power in Drammen. But it is probably a weaker poll than the Conservative Party could have imagined, says election researcher Svein Tore Marthinsen. He believes there are likely to be quite interesting negotiations between the parties after the election, if the survey Norstat has done for news is correct. According to the survey, the Conservative Party has increased by 1.6 percentage points since the last municipal election. In Drammen, Høyre is now at 27.3 per cent. The Labor Party has fallen 3.6 percentage points: from 26.2 per cent in 2019 to 22.6 per cent. Even if the Conservative Party and the Progressive Party want to cooperate on the bourgeois side, that is not enough for a majority. As a result, Høyre’s mayoral candidate Kjell Arne Hermansen will probably have to work with several parties. But he won’t say anything about which ones. – We want to have a broad bourgeois majority. We have said that all along, and we believe it is entirely possible to achieve it, he says. Mayoral candidate for Drammen Høyre, Kjell Arne Hermansen, says they will hold out until election day to get a change of power. Mayor of Drammen, Monica Myrvold Berg (Ap), believes that the mobilization they have done in August has borne fruit. In order to secure a majority, she sees that Venstre can be the key – even if Venstre does not want to work with Rødt. – There are many ways to have a collaboration. As long as they have faith in the solutions we stand for, it is entirely possible, says Myrvold Berg. Up and up for the Progress Party Ulf Erik Knudsen is the first candidate on the Frp’s list in Drammen. He is very satisfied with the results. – I must say that I am very pleased. It shows that we have done something right in Drammen Frp. The aim is to become the FRP’s strongest city municipality, and it looks as if we will succeed. The party is now well above what they have talked about with eight mandates in, says Knudsen. – We hope it will last and that we will get a blue government in Drammen.
