Most snow is expected in western areas, writes the Meteorological Institute. The warning applies to areas in Trøndelag, Møre and Romsdal and parts of Vestland. Mountain areas such as Trollheimen, Dovrefjell, Strynefjellet, Sognafjellet and Vikafjell are places where snow will fall. Drive according to the conditions The Meteorological Institute makes the following recommendations: Allow some extra time for transport and driving Use the right tires and drive according to the conditions The need for emergency preparedness must be assessed continuously by emergency operators – Some journeys may have longer journey times. There may be locally difficult driving conditions. There may be a new warning – It is still a bit uncertain which places will get the most snow. High in the mountains, there can be larger amounts. She says that there is a possibility that there will be more snow this weekend, and that there may be an extended warning. – The warning initially applies until Saturday morning.
