The news agency AFP also does not cite named sources. According to the sources, the leader must have had a leading role in managing Hezbollah’s operations in the south. Earlier on Monday, it was reported that Israel carried out airstrikes against the area. Hezbollah is said to have lost more than 130 soldiers in attacks from Israel after 7 October. They are allied with Hamas in the Gaza Strip and Iran.
