Hamas has delivered a list to Israel of hostages that Hamas will release on Thursday. But the list does not meet Israeli requirements, reports the Israeli broadcaster KAN. An Israeli source tells the channel that if Hamas does not change the list by 7 o’clock Thursday morning, then Israel will start the fighting again. On Wednesday evening, a spokesman for Hamas stated that the group is not satisfied with Israel’s latest proposal to bring about another extension of the temporary ceasefire agreement. The ceasefire came into effect on Friday morning last week and was supposed to last for four days. It was extended by two new days. Several media outlets in Qatar reported on Monday that negotiations were then underway for another extension. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Israel late Wednesday evening. It is the United States, Qatar and Egypt that mediate between Hamas and Israel.
