The Israeli government has declared a state of emergency following the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, NTB reports. According to Israeli media, the state of emergency will last until 30 September. This means that the Israeli military (IDF) will be given powers to give instructions to the population, ban large gatherings, restrict education and introduce measures to save lives. No measures have been introduced so far.
