4 July 2023 at 13:28 Mimir Kristjansson on Moxnes: – Is he just a human too In a post on Facebook, Rødt profile Mimir Kristjansson goes out against all the criticism directed at Rødt leader Bjørnar Moxnes after it emerged that he had stolen a pair sunglasses at Gardermoen. – There is no doubt that Bjørnar Moxnes has done something wrong. He has stolen a pair of sunglasses and he hasn’t told the truth about it afterwards. He must be punished for that, and he has been punished. And of course both Moxnes and Rødt have to endure critical questions about what he has done, says Kristjansson. He still believes that many of the critics must have some sense of proportion. – Much of what is now being written in social media about Moxnes is downright demeaning. It is no wonder that he has been called out sick due to this strain. But this too has been met with a wall of derision, he writes. – I think we do well to remember that Bjørnar Moxnes is only human, he too. This case is of course sensational and serious. But it must be possible to have some proportions in all this, he continues.
