Expo Push put at the center the direct connection, in person and in real time between young people and the private sector

Push Expo 2026: A New Era for Youth Employment

The Libertad Palace recently hosted the inaugural edition of Push Expo 2026. This groundbreaking event aimed to connect companies, labor leaders, and over 5,000 young individuals in search of training and job opportunities. The initiative is a joint effort by Fundación Pushuar and Laburatorio, an initiative promoted by Banco Nación Foundation, showcasing a commitment to developing young talent in Argentina.

A Dynamic Interaction Space

Push Expo 2026 served as a vibrant platform that facilitated direct, in-person interactions between youth and the private sector. Participating companies from various industries engaged in interactive panels and job matchmaking dynamics, which included both individual and group interviews. This was a significant effort to make the selection process more accessible for young job seekers.

One of the milestones of the meeting was the launch of Brújula, the artificial intelligence chatbot

Brújula: Transformative AI for Recruitment

A standout moment during the event was the launch of Brújula, an innovative AI chatbot designed to enhance recruitment processes by focusing on skills rather than conventional resumes. This tool is intended to uncover and showcase hidden talents that might otherwise be overlooked in the labor market.

Brújula translates various work experiences into digital profiles and certifications, facilitating young people’s accessibility to the job market. Currently integrated into training programs by Fundación Empujar, this open-source platform aims to provide nationwide access for youth.

Florencia Segal, head of Institutional Development at Fundación Push, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, “The job exhibition promotes genuine meetings between young applicants and companies, prioritizing skills over traditional CVs. The launch of Brújula highlights our commitment to creating inclusive, humane hiring processes.”

Collaborative Efforts to Enhance Youth Employment

According to Sara de Lorenzo, a Junior Professional Associate with the World Bank’s Global Practice on Social Protection and Employment, initiatives like Brújula are pivotal in reshaping how young individuals, particularly the vulnerable, access job markets. “Recognizing both formal and informal learning reveals talents that often remain obscured,” she remarked.

De Lorenzo also underscored the importance of the private sector’s involvement, asserting that when companies evaluate talent beyond traditional methods, they create better opportunities for young candidates. “It’s a win-win situation,” she added.

The Laburatorio initiative included various engaging events, such as talks and workshops centered on innovation, work culture, and entrepreneurship. Meanwhile, Fundación Empujar orchestrated the job exhibition, creating a space where youth and companies could connect meaningfully.

Conclusion: A Vision for Empathetic Hiring Practices

The collaborative efforts at Push Expo 2026 embodied a clear message: the commitment to enhancing youth employability through accessible tools, training, and equitable hiring practices. By focusing on skills rather than traditional CVs, Fundación Push has taken a significant step toward creating a labor market that is inclusive and focused on potential. This first edition has reaffirmed the organization’s mission to guide young individuals aged 18-24 towards higher quality job opportunities, emphasizing the importance of humane and inclusive hiring models.

Fundación Empujar continues to support young people from vulnerable backgrounds, facilitating their pathways to formal employment through free training, mentorship, and connections with industry players. This multifaceted approach is critical in generating real opportunities for labor inclusion, marking a hopeful future for youth in Argentina.
