In week 44, there were 31 corona-related deaths at Norwegian hospitals. Last week there were 73 corona-related deaths. FHI writes that there is still an increase in the spread of infection, and they expect the increase to continue in the coming weeks. But that the number of people admitted to hospital has leveled off in the last two weeks. They encourage the elderly and people in the risk groups to get vaccinated. The flu season has not started yet, but FHI expects that the infection will increase gradually, and that the outbreak may come before Christmas.
