– The birth was a little more complicated than first thought, Amalie Iuel told news during a trolley ride with her and Aksel Lund Svindal’s newborn son, Storm. On 1 September, the couple’s first child was born, but the birth did not go quite as Iuel had imagined. – There was an emergency caesarean section after quite a few hours in the delivery room. – What did you think when they said it was a caesarean section? – I was quite upset, because I had hoped I would be able to do it the old way or the usual way. But we had to take the emergency exit. I was sad just when they said it, but I realized very quickly that in order for him to be well and come out healthy, he had to go that way, says the athletics star.
