He entered the final shoot alone, slamming down four flashes before turning to the audience and hush. He then slammed down the last shot as well. It even made King Harald smile in the stands. – I am moved, me, exclaimed TV 2’s expert Petter Northug. Thus, Thingnes Bø won superbly with almost a minute down on French Quentin Fillon Maillet and Sturla Holm Lægreid. Thingnes Bø started the chase only after winning the sprint, and never gave the competitors a chance. He missed only once in four shootings.
