President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, is charged with three counts of indictment. He is said to have pleaded guilty to the two offenses relating to tax offences. The last point concerns the illegal purchase of weapons. On this point, he has entered into an agreement with the American authorities. The agreement will concern treatment of his drug use and monitoring, and is an alternative to a prison sentence. The BBC writes. The three offenses are said to have taken place in 2017 and 2018. Drug abuse and gun purchases Biden admitted in his own autobiography to having bought guns during a period when he was abusing crack cocaine, according to The Washington Post. Biden has long struggled with drug addiction. He also wrote about this in the book, which was published in 2021. “I know that Hunter thinks it is important to take responsibility for the mistakes he made during a period of turmoil and addiction in his life.
