Overview of the Exhibition
The exhibition LEGENDS: The Ultimate Football Experience inaugurated on May 29 at InSpace Polanco, featuring the well-loved soccer icon, Hugo Sánchez, alongside Javier Tebas, the president of LALIGA. Spanning over 2,000 square meters, this event celebrates international soccer by showcasing original jerseys from legends like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Diego Maradona, and the exhibition’s favorite, Pentapichichi himself, Hugo Sánchez.
Immersive Experiences Await Visitors
The exhibition aims to bridge the gap between generations of football enthusiasts by integrating original memorabilia with cutting-edge technology and interactive experiences. Visitors can expect to see iconic artifacts from decades of football history, such as the Alfredo Di Stefano’s jersey from a 1962 international friendly and the kit worn by Diego Armando Maradona during the unforgettable 1986 Mexico World Cup.

Interactive and Technological Innovations
The experience begins in the Milestones room, where an enthralling short film details the evolution of soccer into a global spectacle. The LALIGA section presents jerseys and memorabilia that marked significant eras in football, featuring legends such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Diego Simeone.
Various interactive installations await visitors, including a Gaming Room, virtual reality experiences, and a 3D cinema that showcases pivotal moments in football history using state-of-the-art technology. The exhibition also features immersive 360° projections of iconic stadiums in the Temples room and highlights gripping rivalries in the Champions vs. Liberators section.

Reflections on Football’s Legacy
The exhibition fosters interactivity through virtual games and multimedia installations, allowing fans to relive unforgettable goals and finals. Tickets are conveniently available throughout the week, accommodating fans’ schedules.
During the opening, Hugo Sánchez shared a poignant remark about the exhibition’s essence:
“Football is memory, emotion, and legacy. We all have moments that marked us: a goal, a shirt, a stadium, a final, a player. And that is precisely what this experience manages to transmit: the history of football through objects, images, technology, and memories that connect with several generations.”
Furthermore, the exhibition dedicates a unique area to celebrating Sánchez’s illustrious career, showcasing his impact both in Mexican and international soccer.
Strategic Significance of the Event
Javier Tebas, president of LALIGA, underscored Mexico’s importance as a strategic market for the Spanish league, explaining:
“Bringing LEGENDS to Mexico City makes perfect sense, especially at a time when Mexico is increasingly present in the international football conversation.”
The collaboration between LALIGA and Fever not only elevates Mexico City’s status as a hub for international experiential projects but also positions LEGENDS as one of the most ambitious soccer exhibitions to ever visit Mexico, reinforcing connections among fans across generations.
