7 January 2023 at 17:30 Hotel roof collapsed in Turkey A roof is said to have collapsed on a hotel in the city of Kars, in north-east Turkey, reports the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet. Ten people have been sent to hospital with injuries, according to the newspaper. No one with life-threatening injuries. – We have some damage as a result of the collapse of the roof in the hall. Their treatment continues, says the governor of Kars Türker Öksüz. Around 200 people are said to have been in the building when the roof collapsed.
