Høgre goes back to the measurements in Trondheim – news Trøndelag

– I think it’s fantastically good numbers for us in Høgre, says mayoral candidate Kent Ranum about Høgre’s support in Trondheim. Despite the drop in support from the previous poll, the Høgre leader says he is satisfied. In the latest opinion poll conducted by Norstat for Adresseavisen and news, Høgre has a support of 29.4%. It is down 4 percentage points since the last poll in March, but up 8.8 percentage points since the last election. The Labor Party has a support of 16.7% compared to 16.6% in the previous poll. This means that both parties are dependent on having many other parties with them to form a majority. Emil Raaen believes that support for the Labor Party will improve when the election campaign gets underway properly. We are at the start of an election campaign. We will come out with our issues, how we want to work to make Trondheim even better, he says. SV is about the same size as Ap Medan Raudt fell in the polls and has a support of 6.5%, SV is about the same size as Ap in Trondheim. The party led by mayoral candidate Mona Berger (SV) is now at 16.4%. Mona Berger in Trondheim SV enjoys the new opinion poll. Photo: Morten Andersen / news – It gave a lot of energy to get positive measurements on the way into the full election campaign. So it’s very gratifying for me and all the other fine people who work for SV, says Berger. Berger hopes that this will give SV more of a say in a potential collaboration with the Labor Party. – We clearly want, and will also demand, to have greater impact when we grow as we have done now, she points out. Dependent on cooperation with several parties Both the Liberal Party and the Labor Party depend on cooperation with several other parties, and among these there are several that are growing slightly in support. This pleases the mayoral candidate from Høgre. – Our cooperation parties do the same or better, and it is also of course very gratifying to be a governing alternative, says Ranum. But while several parties grew, Rødt dropped 4.3 percentage points in the opinion poll. – We have ambitions to do better than this at the election. So we are not jubilantly satisfied, but there is now a slight margin of error in the opinion poll, so we will not let it destroy our motivation, says municipal council representative Roald Arentz in Rødt Trondheim. SV is also open to cooperation with other parties on the left in politics. – We would like to cooperate with the Labor Party, the Center Party, MDG and Raudt, says Berger. If this poll stands up to the election in September, there will probably be intense horse-trading and free behavior for the small party, says Bjørgan. Linda Bjørgan is a political commentator at news Trøndelag. Photo: Stein Roar Leite She believes the survey shows that the Labor Party can gain the most from sofa voters. – These are voters who voted for Ap at the previous municipal election in 2019, but who have not yet made up their minds. The right’s voters are more loyal and there is little to gain from uncertain voters. The election campaign has not really started yet locally and there may be a bigger impact in the polls when the temperature in the election campaign rises, says Bjørgan.
