With four minutes left in the first quarter, father and son were replaced together. That led to huge cheers in the arena, AP writes. Bronny got a total of 02.41 minutes on the field without recording any points in the 110-103 victory. Afterwards, the two were interviewed together: – I have been given a great opportunity to take part in this league and get better every day and learn every day. I’m incredibly grateful, said the youngster before his father added: – I lost a lot of time (with the family) because of this league, so to have this moment where I’m at work and can work next to my son is one of the greatest gifts I have received from God, and I will take advantage of it. In the audience sat both LeBron’s wife and the couple’s two other children. Bronny was selected in the second round of this summer’s NBA draft as number 55 and is not expected to get much playing time this season. LeBron debuted in October 2003, barely a year before Bronny was born, and this year’s season is number 22 for the 39-year-old who has won the NBA four times, most recently in 2020.
