A hiker has found the remains of a human on the shore on Kvaløya, the police report. – Based on the place of discovery, the condition of the remains and information from the informant, there is reason to believe that the remains have been in the sea and then washed ashore, the police write. The police are assisted by a rescue boat to transport police personnel to the scene. The remains will be transported to Tromsø for further investigations.
