Latest: Riksveg 5 is expected to open before 3pm today, reports the Road Traffic Centre. There has been a rock slide across national highway 5 at Kvineset, between Førde and Naustdal. – The stones are the size of half a passenger car, says traffic operator Kjetil Larsen at the Swedish Traffic Agency. According to the police, the landslide should be around one meter in height. There is no suspicion that anyone was injured in the collapse. Geologist to the town The road is closed until further notice, and there is a traffic problem in the town. – Several wagon trains are on both sides of the crash site. Cars in the queue are trying to turn around, says operations manager Eirik Loftesnes in the police. The police are asking people who are going to pass the landslide area to wait for the drive until the road is open. Detour roads are Fv. 615 via Sandane or E39.
