26 February 2024 at 08:02 SSB: Highest unemployment since August 2021 3.9 percent are unemployed, January figures from Statistics Norway (SSB) show. This corresponds to 117,000 unemployed people, which is 2,000 more than in December. It is the highest figure since August 2021. Much of the increase came among men aged 25 and over. – About two-thirds of last year’s increase in unemployment has been among men, says Tonje Køber, section head for labor market and wage statistics at Statistics Norway.
