Muhammad Nimah Nasser, also known as Hajj Abu Nimah, was killed in an Israeli attack in the Hosh area, Hezbollah said on its official Telegram channel. According to the Lebanese militia, Nasser was 58 years old, but they do not say how he was killed. A security source told AFP that the Hezbollah commander was in charge of three sectors in southern Lebanon and was killed in an attack on a car. According to Reuters, the slain Hezbollah commander should have had the same rank as Taleb Abdallah, another Hezbollah leader who was killed in June. One of Reuters’ security sources said at the time that Abdallah was the most important Hezbollah member to be killed since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7.
