Ingrid Flugstad Østberg is among the runners who can participate. In Ruka, both women and men will do a classic sprint on Friday, a 10 km classic on Saturday and a 20 km pursuit start free technique on Sunday. Flugstad Østberg has three times since autumn 2019 been refused a start due to the health situation. In the weekend’s season opener at Beitostølen, she started after receiving an approved health certificate and impressed with a third place in Saturday’s 10 kilometer classic. The Gjøvik runner has only participated in three World Cup races in the last two seasons.
