Cate Blanchett won as best actress in a drama for the film “Tar”. Angela Bassett received the award for best supporting actress in the film “Black Panther, Wakanda Forever”, while Julia Garner received the award for best actress in the TV series “Ozark”. For several years, the Golden Globe jury has received criticism and been accused of ethical abuse, racism and corruption. This year, presenter Jarrod Carmichael opened the show by declaring to the predominantly white audience in the hall, that “I’m here because I’m black”.
