27 June 2024 at 10:43 Hells Angels won against If in the Supreme Court Insurance companies cannot refuse to renew property insurance because of the policyholder’s association with a motorcycle club. This is confirmed by the Supreme Court in a new judgement. It was in 2020 that the insurance company If canceled an insurance agreement for the clubhouse of the motorcycle club Hells Angels in Helldalen in Bergen. If lost the case against the motorcycle club in the Gulating Court of Appeal last autumn, but the insurance company appealed it to the Supreme Court. They have come to the conclusion that the conditions for refusing to renew the insurance contract have not been met.
