The civil defense has also arrived – The forest fire is in the very south of Eidsberg, on the municipal border between Rakkestad and Indre Østfold in Trømborgfjella. But we have at least 30 at work and it is expected that more will assist, says Nesset. The fire was discovered at 5pm on Tuesday. At 10 p.m., the fire service reports that the fire is spreading north. The police also sent up their own helicopter to locate the forest fires and assist the fire brigade earlier this afternoon. – There should be no danger of the fire spreading to buildings, said duty manager Frode Johannesen at East 110 central. According to the duty manager, the forest fire spread with the wind. At 8.30 pm, the fire service says that they are starting to get control of the fire in Fetsund. – The fire has calmed down a lot after the assistance from the helicopter. It is still windy and the fire appears every now and then. But we have good control at the site, says Nesset. The fire service is both in Fetsund in Lillestrøm municipality and in Eidsberg in Indre Østfold municipality on forest fires. Fire in solar panels The fire brigade in Rogaland also had to go out to a forest fire in the terrain near Sundvor in Bjerkreim. However, there must be no danger of construction. – We are on our way up with a drone to get a better overview. There are steep and difficult conditions at the site, said Rogaland fire and rescue supervisor Svein Nesse at 18.20. According to Nesse, 21 solar panels that have been installed and connected are burning. At 9 p.m., the fire service tells news that the fire in the solar panel has been extinguished.
