16 February 2024 at 14:52 Head-on collision on the E18 at Sjursøya – no one critically injured There has been a traffic accident between at least two vehicles on Mosseveien on the E18. – All people involved are conscious, but the extent of the damage is otherwise unknown. At least one person is trapped in a car. The fire service has started extrication, the police write on X. The police first reported the head-on collision at 14.50. At 15.23 the police inform that all the persons have been released. There are a total of three people involved, divided between two vehicles. No one should be critically injured. – They are supervised by health personnel, writes the operations centre. E18 at Sjursøya will remain closed in both directions until further notice. There is an alternative detour via the E6 Ryen. – This means that both incoming and outgoing runs are currently blocked, they write. The fire service is on the scene and has helped free the driver of one car.
