According to WFAA-TV, children are among the injured. They report that a perpetrator is dead at the scene. The police chief says they believe the perpetrator acted alone. Video images from the scene show the police working to evacuate people in groups. The images have also shown blood on the ground and white sheets over what appear to be bodies outside a shop. Texas Governor Greg Abbott said in a statement that his thoughts are with the people of Allen after what he called an unspeakable tragedy.
