31 January 2023 at 12:22 Committee: Must live further away to get commuter housing The limit for who can get commuter housing will be moved from 40 to 50 kilometres, if the majority in the Representative Arrangements Committee gets approval for its proposals. The committee submitted its report to the Storting on Tuesday. When it comes to business trips, the representatives must be at least 50 kilometers from their place of residence to be entitled to hotel accommodation and diet, the committee suggests. The Storting shall continue to be responsible for managing the financial arrangements for the representatives of the Storting.
