According to the police, around 50 people have been evacuated. The municipality has an overview of 30 evacuees, who tonight are either accommodated at Kragerø Sportell or with friends and family, says mayor Grunde Wegar Knudsen. The municipality has set up an evacuation center in the sport tell, where the psychosocial team and volunteers from the Red Cross Aid Corps and Norwegian People’s Aid assist. On the municipality’s website, it is emphasized that none of the evacuees are allowed to move home tonight.
