Shots are said to have been fired at the scene. Aerial photos show a white van blocked by two armored police cars, and several other police cars around, in Torrance south of LA. The police have few descriptions of the perpetrator, but assume that he is between 35 and 50 years old and possibly Asian. The shooting took place during the Chinese New Year celebrations in the city. The motive is also still unknown.
