Robbie Coltrane has died aged 72. This is confirmed by his agent to the British news agency PA on Friday evening. The award-winning actor has been struggling with illness for the past two years and died in hospital near his home in Larbert, Scotland, writes Deadline. Coltrane is best known as the actor behind Gygrid, the hulking forest keeper at Hogwarts School of Wizardry, in JK Rowling’s Harry Potter universe.
