7 October 2023 at 18:15 Harila’s Sherpa missing after avalanche Kristin Harila says that the Sherpa Tenjen Lama Sherpa, who was also with her on the world record earlier this year, is missing after an avalanche on Shishapangma on Saturday. She confirms this herself on Facebook. Shishapangma is located in China and is 8,013 meters above sea level. It is the world’s fourteenth highest mountain. Lama and another Sherpa, Mingmar Sherpa, were to assist two American climbers, Anna Gutu and Gina Marie. That’s what The Himalayan Times writes.
