27 February 2024 at 21:25 Stavanger Oilers won in a low-scoring match – seven straight losses for Lørenskog Stavanger Oilers put pressure on Vålerenga with a narrow 2-1 win away to Lørenskog in the elite series in ice hockey on Tuesday. Oilers were seven points behind Vålerenga in second place before the match. The first goal of the match did not come until halfway through the second period when Martin Gran scored for the visitors. Seven minutes later, the home team took advantage of a surplus game and equalized through Christian Blomqvist. In the third period, the Oilers regained the lead through Dan Kissel, and won. The Oilers thus reduced the gap to Vålerenga from seven to four points. There are four games left in the regular season in the EHL.
