A woman in her 50s has been charged with attempted murder after she threw a one-year-old child out of a window in a house in Nesodden in May this year. In the indictment, it appears that the child suffered head injuries. Believes she was psychotic The police believe the woman was psychotic when the incident happened and therefore not sane, writes VG. In the indictment, the prosecution writes that they will submit a claim for compulsory mental health care. HERE IT HAPPENED: The one-year-old child was seriously injured after falling out of the window. Does not plead guilty The grandmother’s defense attorney says she has not yet been able to talk to her about it, but that the indictment is as expected. – She has been questioned by the police and does not plead guilty, says defender Jorunn Hegle Hovda to news. The defendant was previously admitted to hospital, but has now been transferred to an ordinary remand prison. – She was too healthy to be in hospital, says Hovda. – She is of course affected by the accusations and is hurt by the situation, but under the circumstances things are going well.
