A German tourist has died after being bitten by a shark, the coast guard on the Canary Islands told AFP. Ulukka occurred around 500 kilometers south of the Canary Islands. She was with a British registered sailboat. On Tuesday, the crew on the sailboat asked for help from the Spanish and Moroccan authorities. The woman lost a leg in the shark attack and was transported by helicopter to Las Palmas. She died of cardiac arrest before the helicopter arrived, writes newspaper Canarias7.
