The facts that we have around it and not least the importance of taking care of each other. They have also gathered in the canteen and at the town hall. – The most affected colleagues are taken care of together at their workplace and have someone to talk to. – Otherwise, people have to take care of each other, says a clearly affected municipal director. – Standing closer together The residents of the municipality are familiar with the tragedy. In a flower shop in Gjerdrum, news’s reporter meets Heidi Nyholt. – No, I really have no words for it. It’s just completely tragic. Why that? – No, it’s probably as the saying goes. That the more negative things happen, you become stronger and stand closer together. As I said, we have been built with a big heart, says Nyholt. Opening the church The church assists the municipality in collaboration with the crisis team. – We are present today and offer the village a place to meet. This is what parish priest Jakob Furuseth tells us. The church will be open from 18:00 to 21:00 for candle lighting and silence. At the scene, they found a woman in her 30s killed and a child of kindergarten age critically injured. The police have charged a man in his 40s with murder and attempted murder. The accused is the deceased’s husband and father of the child. The man’s defense attorney tells Romerikes Blad that her client acknowledges the conditions he is accused of. – My client had an intention to kill his wife, their children and himself. The man has agreed to four weeks’ detention, and the detention hearing will take place on Friday. It was he who notified the police about the incident.
