The emergency services received a report of a fire in a detached house in Sarpsborg at 18.45 on Thursday evening. Six people are registered at the address. – All persons have been accounted for. Work is being done to get the fire under control, says operations manager Ronny Samuelsen in the East police district. When the emergency services arrived at the address in Skjeberg, the detached house was engulfed in flames. – The fire brigade immediately started extinguishing work and tried to prevent spreading. It is very dry here, says Gjermund Westberg Hage, the police’s incident leader at the scene. A car and a tractor have also caught fire at the scene. The fire brigade will let the house burn down in a controlled manner. The fire service has carried out a controlled burn down of the house. Only the pipe remains.
