With a support of 22.0 per cent, the Fremskrittspartiet is the country’s second largest party in the October poll conducted by Norstat for news and Aftenposten. The FRP advances with 2.5 percentage points in the survey, while the Conservative Party falls back with 2.8 percentage points, to 22.7 percent. The Conservative Party has not been so low in news’s polls since December 2021. The Labor Party falls below 20 per cent in the poll and receives support from 19.3 per cent of those surveyed, down 0.9 percentage points compared to September. The government’s colleague, the Center Party, is also struggling. The party receives support from 4.9 percent of those surveyed, a slight decline from last month. All changes are within the margin of error. There is a clear bourgeois majority in the survey, with 94 mandates for the Conservative Party, FRP, Venstre and KrF. A majority requires the support of 85 representatives in the Storting. There is a general election on 8 September 2025.
