4 January 2023 at 11:04 Norwegian Uno-X ready for the Tour de France The Norwegian cycling team Uno-X are ready for the Tour de France. Sports manager Kurt Asle Arvesen confirms this to TV 2. Never before has a Norwegian-Danish team cycled the cycle race. – It is completely unreal, says Arvesen to the channel. It is also confirmed on the Tour de France’s official Twitter account and in a press release from Uno-X. This means that the Norwegian cycling profile Alexander Kristoff will be seen in the tour this year as well after he was ready for Uno-X before this year’s season. – We won’t win overall, but we should be able to fight for stage wins, says Kristoff to TV 2. – We are extremely proud, humble and grateful for the invitation. The Tour de France is the ultimate dream and this is a team victory, says team manager Jens Haugland. The tour starts on 1 July in Bilbao. Uno-X will be the first Norwegian men’s team to cycle the Tour de France. Last year, the women’s team of Uno-X took part in the women’s edition of the cycle race.
