Taiki Morii from Japan won the sitting race by just one hundredth of a second ahead of the Netherlands’ Jeroen Kampschreur. Rene De Silvestro came in 4th place. All three have become accustomed to being behind Pedersen in the ten World Cup races earlier this season. There, the Norwegian has won by a long shot. Pedersen was 36 hundredths behind gold winner Morii in Espot. The competition was supposed to take place on Sunday, but was postponed for a day due to strong winds. Magnus Valø Balchen participated in the same branch as Pedersen. He finished in 15th place, 9.87 seconds behind Morii out of the 18 who took part in the competition.
