Four charged after seizure of 47 kilos of hashish – several young people under 18 involved – news Troms and Finnmark

РWe are concerned that young people in our region are connected with what we consider to be organized criminals. This is what police inspector Yngve Myrvoll says after the Troms police district has now charged four people with seizure of, among other things, approximately 47 kilos of hashish. The investigation so far shows that it is young people in Troms who have received a large amount of drugs from what the police believe is a network with connections to Malm̦ in Sweden. 16-year-old in custody An 18-year-old from Troms is now in custody, while a 16-year-old has been in custody for two weeks. The other two people in the case are known from the police from before. They have Syrian nationality and live in Sweden. The two were taken three days after they tried to smuggle seven kilos of cocaine across the border at Svinesund. One person escaped customs and swam across the river to Sweden, where he was arrested after a few hours. These people are currently charged with a serious drug offense and are currently in custody in Sweden and Norway, respectively, the police say.
