27 June 2024 at 10:16 The Golf Association goes for Borge and Stavnar in the Olympics The Golf Association of Norway has nominated Celine Borge (25) and Madelene Stavnar (23) to participate in the Olympics in Paris. Thus, it is likely that both will make their Olympic debut. Both Borge and Stavnar are qualified for the summer games according to the International Golf Federation’s (IGF) regulations. It is up to the Olympiatoppen whether the two golfers will be selected for the Olympics. Earlier this month, Viktor Hovland and Kristoffer Ventura were selected for the men’s tournament. Borge and Stavnar both represent Vestfold Golf Club. Borge plays daily on the LPGA tour, Stavnar on the European tour. In the Olympics in Tokyo three years ago, Hovland, Kristian Krogh Johannessen and Tonje Daffinrud participated for Norway. (© NTB)
