On Friday, the former municipal superintendent in Frosta was charged in the case against him. The man is accused of having obtained sexual intercourse with 96 women by abusing his position as a doctor. He is also accused of rape against 88 of these. The man has denied guilt throughout. The police started an investigation against him in August 2022, after being notified by the Norwegian Health Inspectorate of possible criminal charges.
