1 July 2024 at 10:58 Former culture minister Hallvard Bakke (Ap) has died Hallvard Bakke, who was culture minister in Gro Harlem Brundtland’s second government, has died, aged 81. Bakke died on Sunday evening after a short illness, his son, Erlend Hals Bakke, told NTB. Hallvard Bakke represented Hordaland in the Storting from 1977 to 1997. He was also Minister of Trade and Shipping in Odvar Nordli’s government from 1976 to 1979, and Minister of Culture and Science in Gro Harlem Brundtland’s second government from 1986 to 1989. Later, among other things, he was also chairman of the board in news. He was married to news presenter and former channel host Gunvor Hals. (NTB)
