Last night it became known that a ballot box had not been included in the count in the municipality. In the urn were 144 ballot papers from the municipal election, and 115 from the county council election. Therefore, the election result must be approved again, and this will therefore take place on Monday. – We have a large protocol. We are talking about 144 votes in the municipal election, in addition to cumulations and throwaway votes that we must check that are correctly presented in the new protocol, says Anne June Iversen, head of administrative services in Askøy municipality. She says that there are 50 pages of statistical data that must be reviewed before the electoral board can approve the election, and that this is why it will take time. – The distribution of mandates remains as it was. But the things we will check now are whether the candidate selection is changed as a consequence of this, concludes Iversen.
