3 February 2023 at 12:13 Footbridge torn down by lorry – E16 closed in both directions between Skui and Sollihøgda The emergency services are on Ringeriksveien in Bærum north of Skui, where a lorry has driven into a footbridge and demolished it, the police report. The footbridge is now over the E16 and blocks the road in both directions. – We are in contact with the driver and no injuries have been reported to him, says operations manager Tor Gulbrandsen to news. There have also been no other reports of personal injuries, says the operations manager. – There are primarily traffic consequences. We don’t know as of now how long it will take with clean-up work, but it will take a lot of time, says Gulbrandsen. The police state that the clean-up work will probably continue for several hours in the future. They are working to find alternative routes along the E16.
